Why do i get a fast busy signal when dialing a valid number

Typical reasons for getting a fast busy are:

      1. The number you're calling is not in service at this time
      2. The number you're calling was dialed incorrectly
      3. The number you're dialing is outside of your dialing area.

If you suspect the number is correct, you may need to open a ticket with support@usipcom.com, providing the time/date of the attempt, the number you're attempting to call and the number from which you were calling from.

Keep in mind, there are dialing restrictions for most of our customer base. By default, customers are set to US continental 48 state dialing only. This does not include Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

If you suspect that you should be able to call outside the lower 48 states, please reach out to your Office Administrator to follow up with our sales team to have that option added to your account.
